In a previous life, Jorel had curated photographic works exclusively for public exhibitions across museums, embassy grounds, and hotels across the largest cities in Europe and Asia.

Jorel has since settled down in Tokyo. He now focuses on model portraiture and street photography.

Nonetheless, a key theme of his visual works still revolves around the fundamental concept of existential solitude as a necessary condition to elucidate love.
